Looking to install more noise via Mopar Cold Air Intake and 14" Magnaflow V muffler. I love my Ram.

That is a nice looking RAM. My stepdad's is similar, except it's a 3500 Cummins Dually. It's a 2012 MY, but unfortunately it's in the shop for a blown transmission.

Stock wheels look good in black on a white truck.

Very nice, I like the dipped wheels. I had an '03 5.7 for a few years and put a Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow on it and it sounded fantastic.

Get the K&N cold air. It's literally the same design but a lot less because it doesn't have the Mopar logo on it

The good ole 68RE... Luckily the Aisin that the HD's get now are supposedly really good.

There's also a rain cover and entry/porch tarp that is support by poles/lines. It works really well to keep the pack rats from crawling over you at night. The tent straps are covered by fake fur but I still use masking tape to protect the paint.

That could be the difference between a warranty and a voided warranty.

Well, they are putting a new transmission in it, since it's under warranty, and had less than 20k miles on it. Hopefully this time it's better.

As much as I love Dodge, I wouldn't count on it. I had a friend with an '08 that liked to chew up transmissions. I think he went through 3 before 200k miles. Though that's not as bad as our Trailblazer that took 2 before 80k miles.

That's insane. Our Durango (2000) has been pretty good, other than a minor tranny fluid leak. It's about to hit 150k in the next month or two, and we haven't run into any serious transmission issues.

I know the light bar is bro-tastic but it fits the lower grill so nicely and is so freaking bright. I was running out in the desert and almost hit a herd of wild horses. You can out-drive the stock headlights going about 45 MPH in the truly dark. The ebay special $160 42" CREE light bar is awesome and lets me see everything.

I had a '99 3500 Cummins DRW Quadcab until my business partner jackknifed it on the highway. Not many problems with the tranny other than once, and that was dealer service related. Ran her for Over 200k mile 90% towing a 38' horse trailer. It was totaled in September and I replaced it with a '14 that was used. Got a great deal since the first owner soaked up a bunch of the depreciation. I have the Aisin in this one, so we will see how it lasts.

I really like that light bar. I was thinking blacktruck needs one but I am still undecided.

I highly recommend just getting the muffler cutout and replaced with a pipe. That's what I did and I love it.

I went with a muffler (14" small) I'm concerned about eco-mode and running with just four cylinders, I worry about the drone of a 2.9L four cylinders at low RPM.

Do the light bar, it's a fun install. The curved 42" light bar fits the curve of the bumper cover perfectly. You'll have to cut out the vertical bumper cover supports with tin snips. Go to Home Depot and buy a piece of aluminum stock. 1.5" x 1/4", cut two pieces about 3.5" long. Bend the aluminum and drill mounting holes that fit the bumper bolts and the light bar mount bolts. Mount it so that it is centered in the grill opening without touching the paint. Don't mount the light bar above the windshield, they whistle like mad.

I'm trying to decide if I want to cut out 90% of the original grill insert, or just spray plastidip to black out the original mounting tabs.

I kept the stock air box just in case, but I've had it on there for 3 years without issue.

Some dealers would blame failures on that though.

Which is why I still have the stock airboc and intake. If something were to happen I'd put the stock one back on before taking it to the dealer

Yes, you made the right choice as far as the 4cyl mode, IMO the drone isn't bad it's only really bad for about 2 seconds when you get on it and it goes from eco mode to 8 cylinders. It sounds horrible until all the first cycle of exhaust works its way out of the pipes.

I really like your light bar but, if I do any additional lighting I think I am going to mount it on top of the bumper or behind the grill. I am going switch out to the projectors and HID's first and see if I like that before I add any lights though.

And your truck looks great with the black wheels. I love a white body with black wheels.
